A genre-bending vocalist and composer with a foundation in soulful jazz and vibrant African rhythms, NALEDI is a South African-born, Los Angeles-based artist captivating audiences worldwide through her uniquely multilingual artistry. Performing in over seven languages, her work transcends linguistic boundaries, weaving together compelling storytelling, dance, and spoken word.
Having graced iconic stages including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and as a featured vocalist with Hans Zimmer Live, NALEDI crafts original music inspired by South African musical traditions, the legacy of Black American music, and the rich textures of folk and Afro-pop.
Her debut EP, BATHO (2024), introduced a deeply immersive sonic world where ancestral echoes meet contemporary expression. Her sophomore EP, Darkness, My Old Friend (2026), expands that vision through intimate, cinematic songwriting exploring vulnerability, resilience, identity, and hope.
