NALEDI is a globally multiple award-nominated, South African-born, New York-based vocalist, composer, and teaching artist captivating audiences worldwide with spirited and deeply rooted musical encounters. Her artistry draws from the rich tapestry of the jazz tradition, interwoven with storytelling and the vibrant influences of her African heritage. Fluent in over 7 languages, NALEDI's performances transcend linguistic barriers, incorporating dance and spoken word to create a truly immersive experience.
This young artist has graced the stages of iconic venues like Jazz at Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, and the Kennedy Center, and recently toured as a featured artist with Hans Zimmer Live '24.
Leading a band of virtuosic young musicians from across the globe, she crafts original music and reimagines familiar songs, drawing inspiration from South African jazz icons like Miriam Makeba and the soulful sounds of Black American Music. Every performance is a sonic journey, a full-bodied exploration of musical landscapes. Her highly anticipated debut EP "BATHO" was released in the summer of '24.
