GOOD TECHNIQUE SHOULD MAKE YOU SOUND MORE LIKE YOURSELF.
I don’t believe in teaching every singer toward the same sound. Your voice comes with its own colour, history, instincts and possibilities. Our work is to understand it, strengthen it and make it more reliable—without sanding away the things that make it yours.
Some days that means technique. Some days it means repertoire, storytelling, confidence or preparing for an audition. The goal is always the same: to help you sing healthily and well with the voice you have.
Hi! I'm NALEDI.
Singer, educator, and lifelong student of the voice.
I’m a South African vocalist and educator based in Los Angeles, and music has been home for as long as I can remember. I grew up singing everywhere, at home, at school, in choirs. I eventually studied Jazz Performance at New England Conservatory. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to build a career of my own — earning multiple award nominations, performing with my band on stages including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and Madison Square Garden, and being featured alongside artists like Hans Zimmer and Lebo M.
Alongside performing, I’ve spent over a decade teaching and working with singers of all ages. What I love most is helping people understand the voice they already have — not trying to make everyone sound the same, but building the technique, musicianship and confidence to use their voice fully.
My teaching is rooted in jazz pedagogy, curiosity, and healthy vocal technique, but ultimately, it’s about you: where your voice is now, where you want it to go, and helping you get there.
I’m so glad you’re here.
